Five Friday...Teacher Attire

As I sit here with a white trash combo of Chardonnay and a splash of ginger ale (I know, I scream classy) I feel like I should blog and write about something.....

......but I got nothing. (except for saying this is obvi a scheduled post, seeing as how I am not drinking on the job before 8am.....OR am I?)

I could blame many, many things on my lack of blogging, but really, I have nothing for you that would be anything but a sorry, lame excuse. Also, I still cannot find my damn camera cord, and taking iPhone photos is getting ooooold, so I have pulled what creative juices I have left and re-created my work attire for you in Polyvore form. Most of these include at least one actual piece from my outfits this past week (including today's) and all of the outfits are virtually the exact same in terms of style, color, fit, and overall look. Polyvore, you're too damn good!

Indulge....and Happy {Five} Friday!

Monday - We had an in-service full of meetings and no kiddos. Time to play it super casual! & those are actually the new boots I got (Jessica Simpson), super cute!

Tuesday - I honestly never wear pink, but somehow, my new hot pink blouse from F21 is a fast favorite! I felt so pulled together while still feeling on trend. Even the kiddos complimented me on the color -- they have their cute moments after all. I was feeling extra festive, too, so I added bright F21 rings to finish off the look!

Wednesday - LOVE myself a good wrap dress. You cannot go wrong with a good black and red combo...comfortable but still professional, best of both worlds! Target (where my red wrap dress is from) is a great place to search for cute and affordable work clothes!

Thursday - I am one of the advisers for our SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) club and 2/23 was "Purple Day" in order to raise awareness and show support against teen dating violence. This purple tee was only $7 from Old Navy....such a cute color for spring! I had on a scarf that had the exact same blue and purple tones as this Missoni one, too! Something about a maxi dress and my cropped F21 white/black color blocking blazer pulled the whole outfit up to an extremely professional level, despite the casual t-shirt. SUCH a comfortable outfit, too!

Friday - Even though we are allowed to wear jeans on Friday, I always dress up my top half with a blazer or nice blouse so I don't blend in too much with the kiddos. My Aldo booties are still my favorite and the kiddos love 'em, too, oddly enough!

I try to keep my outfits balanced between cute/trendy and business/professional. My students always ask where I find all of my clothes, and little do they know MOST come from stores they shop at.....like F21 and Old Navy. Yeah, bitches, I'm just that crafty ;) Make it werrrk, sistah!

Have a fabulous weekend, enjoy yourselves! I'll leave you with my latest purchase/splurge and a photo of me and Mr.SSB from our Valentine's Day weekend dinner (where we hit up da club afterwards to meet his friends.....yeah, we keep it real...and sweaty).

Until next time, I'm off to enjoy my own weekend and relish in all the beauty that is the END of February.....................

Post-Teacher OOTD (so really just a plain outfit....)

"You don't really look like normal teachers."
"What ever do you mean dear student?"
"You actually care what you look like when you come here."
"Right you are...bonus for you...you go Glen Coco."
.....and they actually got my reference! A win in the teacher book, for sure!

I always try to look pulled together, even outside the classroom. It's getting chilly here with snow just around the corner (cough, tomorrow, cough) but there are also days here where t-shirts are acceptable. Oh, mother nature, you craaazy bitch!

That being said, I like to look myself but still classy just in case I happen to run into any student and/or student parent while out......you know, shopping for clothes...or buying booze.....like I said, classy. Plus, I thought I'd showcase this aforementioned crazy weather in all its fall, pre-winter glory, hence no cropping of photos!

{Cape: Marshall's, Tee: American Eagle, Scarf: Stolen from sister ;), Jeans: Volcom (very old jeans!), Shoes: Sam Edelman}

I hope you all had a wonderful Thursday and are excited that TGIF is just around the corner (along with the snow, booooo!)

Until next time, farewell to every single one of my love-el-ly readers, new and old, I love you all more than SSB (just don't tell him that!)................

Weekend OOTD

I am not a fashion-only blogger.
I feel like most--if not all--of you already know this.

There are some blogs I adore and all they do is post photos of their outfits. Usually oufits I could nah-ever afford or outfits that amaze me because it's all thrifted and I just never have that kind of luck, but these blogs all provide me with an everyday editorial....which are usually better than the actual editorials in magazines that include creepy men, lambs, and off-site locations that just look odd.
{for good fashion-only blogs, check out Atlantic-Pacific and The Moptop}

Then, there are other fashion-only blogs that I adore but for an entirely different reason. They pose in such hysterical ways that make me wonder if they are being serious. Fear not, if I comment on your blog about your outfit or just about anything else, you are not one of these bloggers. Chances are if you're reading this blog, you are not one of these bloggers!

So SSB & I headed out for Happy Hour at a local bar yesterday and after he downed three beers on virtually no food and I slurped down two cocktails, I convinced SSB to take photos of my outfit. It's not even a great outfit, it's not exactly perfectly planned, but hey, we were buzzed......and I pulled out my best damned awkward poses for your viewing pleasure. NO need to thank me, really, just laugh it up. You can, however, thank the ever-so charming SSB for taking these when he had no idea what my intention was. "WHY do you look so sad in this photo?" Oh, SSB, you have no idea about the world of fashion-gone-funny blogging. At least he's still cute.

PREFACE: Honestly, I don't have specific bloggers in mind, and I don't want anyone to be offended. I mean, after all, I'm the one who is actin' a fool here, people! Remember that fact!

Pose #1 - Deer in Headlights
Truthfully, I usually look like a DIH because I'm frazzled by just about anything, but this is one of the true gems that I love seeing on OOTD posts!
{this is how Bambi looks right before your car swerves to miss hitting her......}

Pose #2 - Why so sad? Why soooo serious? (is The Joker around?!)
This takes me back to Myspace days when you were supposed to take sad photos of yourself not looking at the camera. I mean, there ARE photos where not looking at the camera still looks entirely normal, so long as you do not have a terribly pitiful look of your face. Enter horribly pitiful face in the following photo.....
{either I'm sad...or scared of a mouse in the corner...this could go both ways, folks}

Pose #3 - Full Blown Profile
These gals have clearly never taken a good theatre class....profile never means to turn completely sideways, rookie mistake, dolls. Always place the feet towards the audience/camera, position your body so we can still see you.......& no offense, this just looks like you're trying to show off your ass(ets) and does nothing for your OOTD.
{only made better by the bunched placement of my hair....}

For the record, my OOTD includes:
Old Navy Jeans
Target Converse Tank
F21 Leather Jacket
F21 Heels
Scarf (stolen from my sister in high school...)
MBMJ Bag

I mean, if you can't laugh at yourself, at least you can count on everyone else to ;) I kid, I kid!
With that being said, I hope you all learned a bit on how to pose properly in your next OOTD spread.
Look forward to a potential Teacher OOTD this week...if I take the time to actually plan a good outfit, that is.

Until next time, I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend....go ahead and post your best awkward photos.......after plenty of alcohol, of course........

HAPPY FREAKING HALLOWEEN

Can you believe it is the last day of October? Really, if there wasn't a holiday on this day, I think I would have completely forgotten about October ending and woke up on Tuesday like it was just another day in the tenth month. Pretty much like when I wake up in a panic at 6:15am on a Saturday not realizing I'm not late for a gosh darn thing. So I'm not the best with times and dates...whatever.

BEFORE we get into the costumes portion of this post, you must first go to my blogging buddy's page because I did a guest post over there on fantabulous cold-weather coats! Woohoo to guest posting and YAY to Little Ramblings who asked me to do it -- love her, love her blog, love love love all around.
Go read it, go follower her, goooooo go go!

--------------------
Alas, it IS Halloween and I am here to share with you photos of SSB and I from the Halloween party we attended over the weekend.

Now, if you are an avid SS reader (then I stinking LOVE you...), you may know that SSB and I were clueless when it came to picking a costume this year. I did a solid two or three posts where you all could vote....well, we went with NONE of those. Don't be offended, dear readers, it was our (mine & SSB's, that is!) fault and our fault alone...we just don't see eye to eye on creative things in life.........until we have alcohol in our system and encouragment from bartenders. Yeah, I just went there.

We were mulling it over in our minds, thinking about what we could possibly to do to top our costume last year. Well, we realized we couldn't top it, so that was that.
Then we thought about what the people at the party would enjoy, what they'd recognize, what they'd be impressed by. Then I named the wrong superhero/woman because I'm clueless in the department of nerdiness, which then turned into the following conversation/debate....

SSB: "Wait, you should be her!"
Me: "Seriously?! There's no way, she wears latex...."
SSB: "Come on, they'll love it, it's a great movie...."
(At this point the bartenders hear, they like the idea, encouraging us to do it.)
Me: "I don't know, it's gutsy...you get to be covered up, too, that's not exactly fair."
SSB: "What other choice do we have?"
Me: "We have lots of choices where I don't have to wear a bathing suit!"
SSB: "You'd have to buy a wig, too, I think."
Me: {thinking for a solid five seconds} "OH! You're right....ok, I'll do it!!"

FINAL DECISION: Watchmen Characters - Silk Spectre and The Nite Owl
(Silk Spectre hooks up with The Nite Owl once leaving the big blue dude, Dr. Manhattan...
I swear I'm not a loser nerd.....)

So.....if you haven't ever seen the film or read the graphic novel version of it, watch the below trailer to get an idea of who we chose to be. (Seriously, the trailer is badass, watch it....) -- Rent/buy/pirate the movie, people, it's good, it's a movie even this girl-tastic girl loves watching! It's set in an alternative 1985 and, holy shit, my character has killer outfit choices when she isn't wearing latex!
{my character shows up in the :57 mark and SSB's dude shows up at 1:03.....
in case you really don't feel like watching the whole thing!}

And if you really didn't even want to click play on the trailer (shame on you!), here are the movie posters featuring our characters....

And....here WE are as those characters.....
{I mean, let's be real, I could not possibly fight crime in this outfit!}
{The garters make it instantly risque but I assure you all body parts were
covered that should be covered....just a little leg action for ya!}

CLOSE UP, BITCHES
{the black hair made my blue peepers really stand
out in person....but the bangs, NOT a fan....}

The costumes seemed to be a big hit, but that's because we played to the party guests' strengths, we knew a ton of people there would be allll over a good comic book/graphic novel couple costume! And, damnit, we were right!
The party was a lot of fun and I am glad we chose these costumes. Now I guess I have to become some sort of cat burglar or nighttime crime watcher just so I can wear this outfit again and get my money's worth!

PLEASE post your photos of your costume(s), I love seeing other people's choices!
I will leave you with my teacher OOTD for this Halloween..........it's a doozy.
ummm HELL YES I wore this around all day....walked in this morning with it on like it was no big deal. Kiddos loved it...well, some were "too cool" to appreciate a good panda hat. High schoolers, psshhh.

Teacher OOTD : Target Blazer, Target White Tee, Black Cigarette Pants (boutique in college), F21 heels (for the "bamboo" effect, since you know, pandas eat that shit up.)

Happy Halloween to all, and until next time, I hope you all have had a wonderful October........

Pics at the Punkin Patch (photo heavy, yo)

{my first cat was named "punkin" because my sister couldn't actually say the word "pumpkin" yet -- now I call all pumpkins that instead...get over it.}

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVE!

I am sadly not here to share my costume with you all, as I am saving that for the actual holiday, but rather, I am here to share some seasonal festive photos!

SSB and I did a Wednesday day date to the pumpkin patch....
which means the place was practically empty....
the weather happened to be quite dreary....
which means the places was really empty.....
which means we took photos like odd tourists.....
even though we live not 30 minutes from said patch.....

PHOTOS!

1. SSB: "Get in the jail!" Me: "No, you get in the jail." (Silence) Me: "Fiiiine, I'll get in the jail."
2. "I'm ridin' solo, I'm ridin' solo, solo....."
3. Punkins! (It was cold and drizzly....hence my scarf hat!)
4. Classic couple-ly shot.
5. Another classic couple-ly shot.
6. Aaaaannd one more for good measure......
7. SSB holding our pick from the patch! (he didn't know I took this, he just has that much swagger...)
8. Ticketttts! Get yo' tickettttts!
9. Mining for gold (for the little ones on the weekends).
10. Umm....YUM!

{OOTD : H&M Skull Tee, Aldo Jeggings, Aldo Boots, F21 Cardigan, F21 Scarf, H&M Sunglasses} .....SSB is probably wearing all American Eagle, shocker.....
Then we went off to Mad Mex(ican) and got ourselves a GOBBLERITO! If you have yet to enjoy this eighth wonder of the world, it is Thanksgiving in a flour tortilla....really. Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and corn inside, topped with gravy and a side of cranberry sauce (which I despise!) SSB & I shared one, of course, and had some margs to top it off!

There you have it, my most recent day/evening date with SSB -- I'll be back tomorrow to share with you some photos from our Halloween party, woot woot! Just as a hint....we did not go with any of our first (or second or third) options....we just couldn't agree on any of them....go figure. THIS we did agree on, though, although I needed some serious convincing (and you'll understand why soon enough). Hope you all had a great holiday weekend and an even happier actual Halloween come tomorrow!

I'm doing this post as part of a link-up with BohoBabyBump, too, so you should showcase your Halloween weekend and link-up, as well! (It's happening on four different sites, mah-jor!)

Photobucket

Until next time, have a spook-tacular day.....yeah, I went there!

SSTeach's OOTD

Nothing exciting to report, as I am still building up my repertoire of funny happenings for a future SSTeacher Rant! In the mean time, here's my current OOTD : Teacher Edition.....I actually plan on wearing this again for a cute date night or something, I loved the way it felt. Loose and free but still structured enough for SSTeach....best of both worlds, ya dig?
[Dress: H&M, Blazer: F21, Shoes: Marshall's, Watch: MBMJ, Bracelet&Ring: F21]
Knotted the dress on the side for an edgier feel....
also helps me when walking up & down stairs, so that's an added bonus!

I need a new camera stat. I used my fah-jah's (aka father) for these photos and his bulky piece is decent, but I want my own! I need sugguestions....what are some fan-freaking-tastic cameras out there? No, not looking for the typical "point and shoot" as mine is like that and I cannot stand the little bugger! Something bigger with high-quality results. Fill me in, people! Pretty please :)

Almost Friday, almost the weekend, yay yay yayyyy!

Until next time, farewell lovahs.....

SSTeacher's Back in Business!

So this September has been playing tricks in the weather department. I never know how to dress because one minute it can be sunny and balmy and then, without warning, the clouds come, the temp drops a solid twenty degrees and the sky just starts sobbing like a teenage girl post-breakup. A girl just cannot catch a break! Mother Nature, get it togetha, bitch, you feel me?!

Random weather rant over.

Here I present you with my first OOTD:Teacher Edition for the current school year!
Blouse: F21, Belt: F21, Skirt: Target, Shoes: JustFab
I totally need a new camera and actually need to care about the quality of photos I post. I'll get to it....eventually. I am the shortest stinking person I know and yet I always cut my head off, gawwwd, can't catch a break in the photog department!

I wanted to incorporate the fall colors without sweating my butt off in the process with the changing temps and lack of AC due to said changing temps. Simple but chic, or at least that's what I was going for! Plus, I try to look a bit older in the wardrobe department as I am just as short (or shorter, whatever) than the students I teach. Fail.

If you haven't checked out my guest post over at AlmostBritain's site and you need a laugh this Monday, be sure to check it out. The life of a teacher is never dull, that's for sure!

Hope you all have/had a quick Monday, I'm ready for this week to fly by so I can enjoy an uneventful weekend. I'm ready to be lazy! hah

Until next time, farewell my Monday love bugs....

OOTD : Beach Edition

SS has arrived back home, slightly more golden but not the least bit sunburned, thanks SPF! Had a wonderful time but am plenty ready to be back home…..except for that little thing called “working as a nanny” but that stops soon enough, as the school year is coming up faster than I expected…not sure how I feel about that!

Anywho, I didn’t do much blogging while at the beach (ok, none, stop judging!) but I hope you enjoyed my guest post! Be honest, how many of you checked your ingredient labels after reading? Anyone, anyone? Bueller, Bueller? Awesome….

To make up for my absence, I have a couple photos from the beach that I’ll turn into an extended version of “OOTD” so I suppose this is more like “OATB” or rather “outfits at the beach” for those who are not so stellar with acronym guessing ;) ALSO, we have a debut of my wonderfully awesome boyfriend. He doesn’t get a cool name like my “Investigator” gal, so we’ll just call him “SSboyfriend” or even SSB – work for you? Works for me! I could have cropped him out but, honestly, I didn’t do any editing to the photos and cropping them would be A)awkward and B)a waste of my lazy time! I’m still on beach-mode after all :) Therefore, there is no cute posing for these as they really are just photos highlighting my trip rather than actual photos taken for an “OOTD” post. Deal with it, fair readers, just go with me here! They are all iPhone photos, too, so they may be a bit gritty and not high-quality, but they look better if you click on them to make them bigger, so there's that!

Black Maxi from Marshall’s
Floral Tank from Target
Necklace from Express

Note 1: I realize this outfit looks a bit odd in photo because of the wing-like sleeves and my pose, but it played out decently well in person…."all black everything" as Jay-Z would say!
Note 2 : I also realize neither of us decided to do much to our "beach" hair that day, whoops!
Black Maxi from Marshall’s
Black Crochet Top from Marshall’s (mostly cream crochet in the back, so cute!)
Wide Belt from Express
Turquoise Ring from F21

Note: After seeing three photos of us together, it is clear we need to change up the pose we make!
 Tribal Maxi from Marshall’s
Boyfriend Tee from Target
Belt from F21
  Red Ring from F21

So I clearly went for an easier feel that still looked put together, or at least I tried to look put together! Looks like I easily had outfits that could fall under the $50 or less category….if we didn’t count the wedges you cannot see under the maxi skirts…..

I did wear shorts over the week, too , but maxis are much more my style because shorts can sometimes just feel stuffy (and sticky!) in hot, hot weather, am I right? I think I may be right!

SSB can pretty much credit good ol’ AE for his attire in all of the photos….he doesn’t really stray from that path, regardless of how hard I try (and try…..and try!) He’s even more stubborn than me, which is quite a feat to accomplish! He still looks good, though, so we’ll let him win this one…for now ;)

There you have it, a mini collection of some of the beach outfits I pulled together with what little I packed this time around! Looking forward to still rocking the maxi look once the weather gets cooler. A great transitional piece!

I’ll leave you with a photo of yours truly rocking the Express Necklace from Outfit #1….as a headband. I tried pulling it over my head to wear as a necklace and it got stuck on my big head….whoops! Photo Op nonetheless!
Could work, but it maaaay get a tad painful as the day/night wears on!

Until next time, as always, farewell love bugs and bloggers & I'm stoked to be back in the blogging mode!

OOTW + Club Commentary

Yeah, that's not a typo. I am posting an "outfit of the weekend" - no, I didn't spend all three (yes, Friday is the weekend!) trolling around in this outfit as I would undoubtedly look like a hooker, but it was the "main even" outfit, so it deserves the new title of OOTW. Explanation finished...let's move on!

Went out to a new club in the city to celebrate a friend's birthday (even though we're celebrating again next weekend for his real birthday!), so I needed to do it up as I have A) not been to a full-blown club since my college days and B)we were getting to drink open bar until midnight for twenty cash-dollars....and who doesn't want to look like the rest of the club-heads when they're drinking with the best of 'em, am I right? So here's the outfit...it's as "club" as I could let myself go.
Dress - H&M
Jacket - Forever 21
Necklace - Forever 21
Shoes - Marshall's
The jacket later came off as I forgot how hot as hell those club places get, but I liked the jacket for a "hey, she's not a complete whore" type of look as well as adding a little edge to an otherwise girly outfit. LOVE my new shoes, such a random trip to Marshall's on Friday (after seeing Bridesmaids, no words!) left me with these bad boys and a nice pair of daisy dukes from Guess - go me! Can always use another pair of wedges, right?

The white dress used to not be quite so hooker tight when I bought it last year....guess my ass and boobs got a smidgen bigger....not sure if that's good or bad, but we'll go with it regardless!

So let's talk CLUBS - cue the pop music, bad dancing, and even worse outfits! I am very conscious when it comes to my appearance in public, but apparently some people just don't give A SHIT about it, and I'm sorry, but that's just rude to the rest of us! Yeah, I'm talk to the girls who are wearing shorts so tight that they create muffin tops coming out of the bottom of their shorts....like, that's not a good look for anyone, so who let you out looking like that? (For more fashion pet peeves, click here!)

VIP areas make me uncomfortable. Roped off sections for a group of people that probably wasted far too much money for bottle service piss me off,  but not in the way you would think. They piss me off when they're in the bathroom and talking about how they over drafted their bank account to get the bottle service and how "so many random people are drinking my shiiiit".....bitch, you have some random-ass guido watching your area and he's going to let in any hot piece of ass he can just to play the cool-guy card....you're to blame entirely for this....any club-head who sees VIP is going to do just about anything short of selling their body to the bouncer for a chance at your over-priced Stolli and Captain, just saying. It's your own fault to felt the need to pay so much to look like the rest of us paying $20 for all-you-can-drink until midnight.

Bathroom commentary (as previously mentioned) is the cherry on top of the club sundae. Bitches cheating on their boyfriends, talking about the other bitches in the club who are trying to cheat on their boyfriends right in front of them, and also the gals who are breaking shit (pretty sure someone's going to need to pay for you throwing your shoe at the tampon receptacle in the bathroom stall), stuffing toilet paper down their bras in front of everyone washing their hands (I'm sorry but I just left middle school for summer...so what's your excuse?!) - really, I think we should pass a law that makes it acceptable to physically abuse someone when--and only when!--they are inside of a club bathroom. Instead of the random people who sit inside the bathroom handing you towels or candy or whatever else those bathroom attendants do, they should be paid to beat bitches up in the bathroom. I won't pay you for your snack-size Snickers, but I will pay you to beat up the bitch who will not stop taking photos of herself in front of the sink with frosted-pink lips kissing the air.....take it elsewhere, I need to sanitize my hands, thank you!

Again, I sort of apologize for being so rude, and I do enjoy the occasional club trip for the reasons aforementioned, so why not take a little dig at them, too, for comedic purposes? Also, I couldn't just post an outfit that was meant for the club without giving you my experience, as well, am I right? I may be a bitch in writing, but I would never be the bitch that you call, well, the bitch at a club. I'm just too nice to play that bitch, and as far as I'm concerned, there are plenty of them out there already for our entertainment.

As for me, I finished one job Friday to begin another one tomorrow. Resting up, as I'm still feeling the effects of our escapade last night...woof.

Until next time, farewell and salutations!

Friday/Saturday Fives

NOTE: I wrote this on Friday the 13th but never got around to actually posting it. Therefore, dear reader, you need to go back into your Friday form for this to truly work. Whether you just got home from college so you were in your pj's all day (jealous) or you were drinking by 3pm (like me, rough day, try not to be a judgy bitch...) or you just had the typical Friday-the-13th-superstitious shit going on...whatever it may be, get back into that frame of mind, albeit quite painful for some. Are we there? Gooood. Let's continue!

While Blogger, my school email account, and several other of my morning websites are DOWN (what is going on Mr. Internet?), I have little to keep me occupied during my free morning periods! What's a bored teacher to do? Write lesson plans, put grades in? HA - been there, already done that, look at this teacher goooo! So with lessons written and grades in place, what's really left? Well, write a blog post inside of a word document (to later place in the aforementioned failed blogger) about her top five favs in five different categories in honor of the fifth month and fifth day of the week and in place of the usual five Friday facts (a whole lot of fives and a whole lot of f words in that last sentence...yep, f words, I said it.)

(I got this idea from elleandblair.com - great site - but then I made it five times better...or bigger...whichever.)

"WHAT'S IN YO BAG, BITCH?" + MINI OOTD

Is this the most overdone post/video/tag/bullshit of all time or is it just me? Either way, I cannot get enough of it, how weird is that? "Oh, please, let me see inside of your purse, that thing you lug with you everywhere you go and God knows what/how much is inside...oooh, so exciting!"....yep, no one said I was normal but everyone said normal is boring, eh?

Before I post the goods, here's my OOTD : Teacher Edition. YES, these were taken in my classroom (no students at the time, reeeelax). The next two days we have some serious down-time due to these senior projects from the other building coming in and needing graded (long story, won't bore you with details), so I just snapped two photos of my outfit & thought I'd post them.

[way to cut my head out of the photo; thanks, self-timer.]
Green Top - Target
Scarf - Not a clue (go me)
Skirt - Forever 21
Belt - Forever 21
Boots - Journeys
[close up of skirt & belt...]

Onto the REAL post. Here goes nothing....

THE BAG
Marc by Marc Jacobs Totally Turnlock Bag
(gifted to me by the boyfriend)

THE GOODS
EVEN MORE INSIDE THE GOODS
"Smile, You're Darker" Tanning Lotion - Yes, I tan once a week. End of story - do not tell me it's wrong, I know it is. Done.
Blackberry - I need a new phone, pronto! This is my life, though, it's like bberry has the ability to suck the life force out of you and make you obsessed with your phone. It's them, not me!
Coach Wristlet - Filled with favorite lipsticks, lipglosses, and lip balms - the rest have to stay at home.
iPod Nano (on top of wristlet) - Have no idea why I bought this, total impulsive spend. It is freaking adorable, though, and it does play my music, so I can't complain. No headphones because I plug it into my car.
Keys - Can't really go anywhere without these bad boys.
Purple Pencil Case - As a teacher, I cannot get enough of my highlighters, pens, pencils, etc. - they're ALL in there.
Pink "Rock Cat" Notebook - My friend got this for me from Urban Outfitters since I always say that I need to keep a notebook with me for last minute reminders and to-do lists; this is what she came up with. How cute is that kitten, though? So tacky but also so cute that I don't even care.
Sunglasses & Sunglasses Case - My current pair is by Betsey Johnson (so cute for summer) and the case is Forever21 from years ago.
Kimchi Wallet - Recent birthday gift, fits all the cards, money, etc.
Birth Control - HEY, I'm only human. Plus, this specific kind helps curb the breakouts, too, bonus!
Express Lipgloss - Sneaked out of the lipgloss bag! (Yes, it is sneaked and not snuck when you're writing, but both are acceptable in English speaking...for future reference.)
e.l.f. Lipstick in Pouty Petal - My on-the-go lipstick; so soft, simple, easy, love it (This is purposefully out of the lipgloss wristlet!)
Bamboo Cosmetic Bag - Fits the items I like to call the "hey, I do have that with me" products - i.e. hand lotion, hand sanitizer, and mini deodorant.
Black Cosmetic Bag - Fit the items I like to call the "hey, my face needs touching up" products - i.e. light bronzer, two concealers, rosebud salve, mini blush, mini powder, some makeup setting spray, three brushes; truth be told, the bronzer and salve are the only ones I use, but it feels good to have the whole arsenal there, like some sort of odd comfort blanket for me?!

[And yes, I know what you're thinking, but it does all fit (it's all inside in the bag photo). I'm nothing if not a completely efficient packer - I use the side turnlocks and front turnlocks to my advantage. This is the perfect bag to hide it all!]

So there you have it, the bag that holds my life. You can thank me later that I left out the tampons and condoms - kidding, I never carry that stuff with me. No, really, I'm the girl searching for a quarter to buy the tampons in the machine because I always forget to bring them with me. Actually, I lied again. I'm the girl that asks five other girls for one before breaking down and searching asking for a quarter to buy the tampon in the machine. Again, I'm only human.

Now I ask the classy question, "What's in YO bag, bitch?" Please post it and let me know!

Coming soon? A makeup review from me...look at this blogger goooo!
